The Civic Circle is gearing up for a busy fall schedule that includes continued collaboration with Montgomery Housing Partnership, a new democracy program at Gaithersburg Elementary School with Carpe Diem Arts, and after-school workshops through Montgomery County’s Excel Beyond the Bell program.
We will also be creating web-ready curriculum materials that will be made available county-wide, thanks to ongoing support from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
Summer sped by, and school’s start brings, as always, the anticipation of new beginnings. Big thanks to Carpe Diem Arts for the opportunity to collaborate on the Hamilton Camp, and to Horizons Greater Washington, for making our Poetry for Democracy Camp possible.
