Thank you to Councilmember Will Jawando for an outstanding visit to Civic Circle students! It was an enriching and extremely valuable opportunity for the students. They had a lot to say about the concerns on their minds, and he was a fantastic spokesman for the three “steps to democracy” they are focusing on this spring: Speak, Act and Lead!

A thousand thanks to Carpe Diem Arts for including The Civic Circle in last night’s Community Sing. The Community Sing is a wonderfully civic event, and it takes place on the 21st of every month. This month we celebrated Music in Our Schools month by singing The Citizen Tango, which introduces students to the seven “steps to democracy!”
