Big thanks to everyone who made our GivingCivicsNow campaign a success! We exceeded our goal with more than $3,000 in contributions large and small via Facebook, PayPal, and the good old U.S. Postal Service. Civic Learning Meets Service Learning at Youth Summit

The Civic Circle was extremely honored to take part in The Maryland Civic Education Coalition’s virtual summit to celebrate Global Youth Service Day. Titled “Empowering Maryland Youth Through Service & Civic Engagement,” the summit explored how volunteering opens the door to civic learning and participation.
