“GIVE A HOOT” FOR DEMOCRACY with The Civic Circle at Give a Hoot Comedy Club in Gaithersburg on August 1 and 2. Enjoy stand-up comedy by Shawn Shank and delicious food and drink by La Mexicana, all to benefit The Civic Circle and support our mission to build youth civic power through music and the arts. THE CIVIC CIRCLE EXTENDS THANKS to the generous funders who have stepped forward recently to underwrite our increasingly urgent mission to lift youth voices, and advance democracy and civic learning through the arts.
