Thanks to everyone who made The Civic Circle’s “A Civic Holiday” such a smashing success. It was an honor to receive visits from Rep. Jamie Raskin and from County Executive Marc Elrich, who both spoke eloquently about the importance of civic education. Another highlight was vocalist Alison Crockett singing songs of peace. The Civic Circle is ready for the Alternative Gift Fair! Come join us today from 12-4 p.m. at the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church.
