The Civic Circle brought a star-studded “super show” to William Tyler Page Elementary School yesterday! Big thanks to the amazing Uasuf Gueye, Munit Mesfin, Lea Morris, and Nick Newlin, and the 625 students who participated!
The Civic Circle is excited to be joining Munit and Z Lovebugs in a first-ever musical double bill at Family Funday on June 5 at Hook Hall. Hosted by Pirate Ventures, this family-friendly celebration runs 10 a.m. to noon and features songs for a better world, children’s crafts, and refreshments. Sign up HERE!
The Civic Circle was extremely honored to take part in The Maryland Civic Education Coalition’s virtual summit to celebrate Global Youth Service Day. Titled “Empowering Maryland Youth Through Service & Civic Engagement,” the summit explored how volunteering opens the door to civic learning and participation. Animal Advocacy Opens the Door

Civic Circle students at Weller Road Elementary School expressed concern about animal welfare, and this opened up a rich series of civic learning opportunities. First, the students donated supplies to the Humane Rescue Alliance, and created thank you cards for the workers there. (Join!)
