The Civic Challenge Day Two!

WELCOME TO DAY TWO of The Civic Challenge!

This week, we are inviting you to support our urgent mission to empower youth civic engagement through the arts. We're also inviting you to weigh in on why the seven "steps to democracy" at the core of our program matter to you.

Today, we invite your reflections on how to sift truth from fiction (Learn!), an increasingly challenging task for students as reliable news sources compete with conspiracy theories on social media. In Civic Circle workshops, students learn news literacy skills through fact-checking games like "find the fake," and how to be responsible digital citizens.

Today's prompt for you:

"How do you remain responsibly informed, but not overwhelmed, amid disinformation and media overload?"

Reply on our Civic Challenge campaign page, or via email at info@theciviccircle.org.

And please help us sustain and grow our programs amid cuts to the arts, humanities, education and youth services! You can help stand up for democracy and the civic skills we all value as Americans. Here's how to help:
