WELCOME TO DAY THREE of the Civic Challenge!
Today is all about voting (Choose!). Voting is at the heart of democracy, and students in our workshops do mock elections, learn about voting rights, and create their own songs, poems and art about what it means to make decisions as a group.
Today, we invite you to support our work to empower civic engagement through the arts, and share why voting matters to you. Today’s prompt is:
Please share your reply on our Civic Challenge campaign, or email info@theciviccircle.org.
On Day Three of this campaign, we are about one-third toward our fundraising goal. Thank you to those who have started us on our way! If you have not yet contributed, please join us!
Funding is down for the arts, education and youth-services across the board, and we can’t continue this work without your help. Now is the moment to stand tall for democracy! Please share why voting matters to you, and contribute whatever amount is right for you:
