Munit Mesfin
The Civic Circle is excited to be joining the D.C. Public Library's Civic Engagement Summer School with a special presentation by Teaching Artist and award-winning singer-songwriter Munit Mesfin.
Munit will lead a collective songwriting workshop with youth and adults of all ages, with a special focus on songs of social justice and female empowerment. Participants should be able to walk away singing a song that they have written about an issue that matters to them.
Thanks to the D.C. Public Library for this opportunity to join the third workshop in its Civic Engagement 101 Summer Session.
