It’s Time to Give Hope!

Video Credit: Montgomery Community Media

GIVING TUESDAY IS TOMORROW and The Civic Circle invites you to join our "Give Hope" campaign so we can put our program, and our  organization, on a path to sustainability. The Civic Circle is expanding to bring arts-based civic learning to students in the Middle and High School grades. We are also raising the funds to hire senior staff to ensure that our program can keep growing and thriving.

There's never been a more important time to support civic learning that lifts youth voices and gives students the civic skills to tell truth from fiction, help in their communities, and engage in elections and civic life. We thank Montgomery Community Media for creating the above video as part of a program to support nonprofits in our region!

THERE ARE MANY WAYS for you to support us on GivingTuesday:

WE ALSO HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US at our "Voices of Hope" holiday gathering on Sunday, Dec. 8,  from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. We’ll hear from Montgomery Council Vice President Kate Stewart, who will also engage in a lively Q&A with Praneel Suvarna, the county's Student Member of the Board of Education. We’ll also have uplifting music by entertainers Lilo Gonzalez and Munit Mesfin, delicious refreshments, a silent auction, and civic arts activities for all ages. Thanks to Jeffrey Slavin and Margo Reid for co-chairing this event, and to Arts on the Block for inviting us to host it in their headquarters. Please reserve your tickets HERE!

WHETHER YOU GIVE $5, $50, or $500, your contribution will help lift the "Voices of Hope" in the next generation, and give students the tools to become compassionate, informed, engaged citizens.
