The Civic Circle is thrilled to announce a grant award from Maryland Humanities! We are honored to be among 50 humanities-focused nonprofits receiving general operating support through the Maryland Humanities SHINE (Strengthening the Humanities Investment in Nonprofits for Equity) Grants Program. We also thank the State of Maryland, the Maryland Historical Trust, and the National Endowment for the Humanities for supporting civic learning, a fundamentally a humanistic endeavor that lifts up our diverse traditions and heritage, and our public life.
